Idag har vi fått information om att det norsksvenska konsulatet i Kapstaden har fått ny adress och nya besöksrutiner med anledning av coronapandemin. Nya adressen är 302 North Wing, Granger Court, Corner Beach Road & Granger Bay Blvd, V&A Waterfront. Telefon +27 21 200 8199.
Så här skriver konsulatet:
"NEW CONSULATE LOCATION AT THE V&A AND UPDATED COVID 19 PRACTICES
The consulate office has moved to an exciting new location in Granger Bay at the entrance to the V&A Waterfront. Situated on the corner of Beach Road and Granger Bay Boulevard, our new premises is centrally located with the Breakwater Parking Garage found in the basement of the building.
We have also increased our security measures and have returned to a setup separates ourselves and customers with safety glass. This feature will also provide an additional level of protection against the spread of COVID-19.
The new offices do not have a waiting area in the reception. For this reason we ask that all visitors ensure that they have a pre-booked appointment and that they arrive on time, not earlier nor later.
Please bear in mind that customers will not be given access to the building without a face-mask and a valid booking confirmation. Walk-ins will unfortunately no longer be admitted. Family members or friends joining customers will not be permitted to pass through the building's security unless directly involved in the appointment that has been booked.
On arrival at the consulate visitors will be asked to complete a temperature reading using our hands-free thermometer and to sanitise their hands. Masks are to be worn for the duration of the visit. Customers exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms, including fever (higher than 37.3 degrees Celsius), cough and difficulty in breathing will not be allowed to enter.
Due to the nature of our services we often deal with customers who are high risk. For this reason, as well as the safety of our staff and all our customers, we ask that the above measures be respected."
